In this study, a high-gain and dual-polarized Quad Ridged Horn Antenna (QRHA) is proposed designed to be used in Obstacle Penetrating Imaging Radar (OPIR) applications. The quad ridged design developed then optimized by using the antenna simulator software; CST Microwave Studio. parameters including center frequency, frequency bandwidth radiation pattern beam width are considered based on requirements of OPIR final obtained for 2.785 GHz with -10 dB at least 2.5 GHz. QRHA able provide gain 12.4 36ᵒ
